Autocad 2012 Freezing and not responding

I have a problem that the software is not responding and freezing when creating new drawing or opening another one.

please I want to fix this issue as I have windows 7 64 bit Operating system installed on workstation Dell Machine

I look to a lot of discussion and I tried the mentioned ways but still same issue

FYI, this software was working fine with windows XP machine.

I need your kind help for solving this issue as it is causing a problem for us.

Is 2012 fully patched and updated?
Have you treid a repair or reinstall?
Does the problem go away if you unplug from the netowrk/internet?

I did all what you said except the first option whtich batches and updates.

from where I get these updates and batches files?

 I installed AutoCAD 2012 SP2 (64-bit).exe file

Now it is working fine.
