AutoCAD 2012 Copy/ Paste option NOT working

When I try to copy and pate any element within the same drawing it won´t paste it will say: "specify insertion point" and I´ve given up.

I tried PICKFIRST but it is set to 1, also tried checking if it would fit in my screen or if the zoom was messed up, but nothing works!

Never seen "specify insertion point" with "LIST" command.

LIST and pick the object, dialog box would pop up would tell you what it is.

EXPORTTOAUTOCAD make a new drawing, open this new one and try copy/paste.

It tells me that it is an unknown command

do you this this is happening because I am using the trial version? should I reinstall the complete version?

No difference with trial version. Attach your dwg here, let's see.

any of those dimensions radius?  if so, the extents of the selected objects will include the center node for the radius (or any other dimension nodes)  If you try CopyBasePoint instead of a simple <CTRL>C - can you place things where you want them?
