We are having some startup errors with xome of our AutoCAD 2010 Mechanical users.
One such error is "error: bad argument type: stringp nil"
I can't seem to determine where they are coming from. We have a lot of customization.
Question: Is it possible to create a detailed log of the startup process?
Thanks,
Mike
have you tried cleaning the windows register with CC cleaner?
"One such error is "error: bad argument type: stringp nil""
This error indicates that a function that expects a string as an
argument is getting something other than a string, or nothing (nil).
"I can't seem to determine where they are coming from."
What have you tried so far? Is it not possible to look back through the prompts/responses via the text window and get a sense of what is loading/running at the time a particular error occurs?
"Is it possible to create a detailed log of the startup process?"
Not sure, but if you search and/or post here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Visual-LISP-AutoLISP-and-General/bd-p/130 you might find or get some good suggestions.
