attaching pdf in cad dwg

good day, 

i'm having difficuly attaching a pdf into cad dwg. every time i enter pdfattach command this what appears "Path to PDF file to attach"..

normally a window will appear when i insert a pdf but now no window appears but this one "Path to PDF file to attach"

i know that there is a set-up in cad so this won't appear again but i forgot..

please help me....

Hi,

can you upload a screenshot of the message you get?

And another option: start command _XREF ... and within this palette-window right click into the area of the files and use "Attach PDF" in the context menu ... same issue?

thanks for your quick response...
please see attached file for reference...
that phrase appears when i am trying to attache pdf in my dwg...before i
had no problem attaching pdf. usually a window will pop up where i can
choose the file to insert, but now no window appears but that phrase in the
command tab..
i know there is something i need to set-up like changing to 0 or 1. i don't
know. i forgot it....
if you could help me.. please

well, is it the sysvar FILEDIA you are looking for (set to 0 and should be 1)?

If not ... there was no screenshot attached.
