add custom in a standard workspace

I can add the SNCL-MMG tab in all the standard Workspace.

After that I save in a new profile.

In this computer it's ok.

My custom CUI is an Enterprise CUI.

But when I go to another computer and install my custom menu using my profile saved.

I didn't see the tab I need in all standard Workspace.

Autocad add my custom workspace and everything is fine on my custom workspace.

I hope it's clear.

I follow image to show what I mean.

Thank you in advance for all help I can have.

I'm trying to add the .arg in the AutoCAD icon without success.

I would like to know if it's possible to get a path in direction of my server?

Message 22 of 34

what is you problem exactly, is it you can't save your icon or you dont know how to add the path in your autocad icon?

No it's not the problem.

I can save the path in the icon.

If it's on the C drive there is no problem but when I try my server path it doesn't work.

Example of path: \\servername\autocad_Menu\profile.arg

Message 25 of 34

that's wierd

did you put these " "  between the path

example

/p "\\servername\autocad_Menu\profile.arg"

do you have the access rights to go to the server

Yes I do exactly this way.

I can do when I use a path such as "C:\_Transfer\Profile.arg".

But if I replace the C drive for "\\servername\_transfer\Profile.arg".

It doesn't work.

Message 27 of 34

do you have an error message or something or just it opened without creating the profile?

rename you profile,

or even try to create a new autocad shortcut from C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012\acad.exe

try to put "\\servername\_transfer\Profile.arg" before  /product ACAD /language "en-US"

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /p "\\servername\_transfer\Profile.arg" /product ACAD /language "en-US"

send me your icon to check it

First thing the profile are already created in AutoCAD.

Second I will send to you the path that I have on The AutoCAD Shortcut Icon in desktop.

This one work

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\acad.exe /p "C:/directory/profile.arg"

This one don't work

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\acad.exe" /p "//servername/directory/profile.arg"

Message 29 of 34

there is 2 problems

it is rather your admin right access via the server

or you are missing "   "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\acad.exe" /p "//servername/directory/profile.arg"

try to put your profile somewhere commun in the server exchange folder and see if it works or not

I already did that and that's no working.

My access server is correct.

I have an admin and I have the wright to delete modify.

So that's not the problem.

I would like to know why the first work with exactly the same pattern.

That's not about the writing if the first one is working fine.

The second should do the same thing.

Message 31 of 34

do you have another autocad version

and try and see if it behave the same

try to restart your computer because it not normal this behavior

did you try on another user's computer

"That's not about the writing if the first one is working fine. The second should do the same thing."

One is a local drive, the other is not.  Try mapping the network share to a "local" (logical) drive letter and use that in the shortcut.

Message 34 of 34

no need to have a logical driver letter

it should work fine

but maybe if you map it to a letter and see if it works
