I know this has probably been asked a million times but i can't seem to find an answer. Basically i have a 3D model of the site were i work. We build offshore steel structures and I am wanting to produce animations of how we put these things together. This would basically require me to show one part moving from one area of the site to another to start with and present in some sort of movie. is this acheivable in AutoCAD or will i need another autodesk package?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
you can create flythroughs with AutoCAD, but not more. At the moment you need object modifications during the animation (from move to bend) or light modifications you need something like >>>3D-Studio Max<<< or >>>Autodesk Maya<<<, but there are also freeware products available like >>>Blender<<<.
