Zoom to text

Hi,
How can I find a text, zoom to it, and keep that zoom after the "find" command is over?
Everytime I do the "Find" command, it zooms to the text, but when I close the window, it goes to the previous zoom.
Yours,
Ed

That is the way it is supposed to work.

Before 09 allowed one to retain the zoom to the found text as does 2010.
I think you are alone on thinking this is how it should work.

OP - retaining the zoom was removed in 09 and brought back in 2010.
This is beyond me too. I don't know if anyone came up with a work
around via code - check the lisp group. Also search here - this has been
discussed.

This was fixed in an Update a while ago. Go to www.autodesk.com/autocad,
Services & Support, Data & Downloads, then Updates & Service Packs.

NO - that is how it works in 2009. I did NOT say it should work as in
2008 or 2010!
