Xref Line Colors appear as multiple colours

I have recently started having a problem where in my drawings, the colors of my lines in an xref take on every color I use in my drawing, but when i print, everything is ok. Also, if the drawing is viewed on a different computer, it is ok as well. for example, if a line is color 9, and in that drawing i have other lines of color 15, 45, and 67. That color 9 line part of it might be 9, but other sections 15 and 45. If i zoom in and out, those colors change. I have not changed anything with my autocad settings to cause this to happen. Also, this only happens when the XREF is locked and LAYLOCKFADECTL is set to anything above 0.

No I don't. I have an ATI Raedon. I've been using 2009 for several months though, and this just started happening a couple of days ago, so i can't see how it would be a video card related problem. I have AutoCAD 2008 as well, and that works fine, so I'm wondering if there is a variable or something that could have changed that's associated with the LAYLOCKFADECTL command.

I don't know of another setting that would affect the LAYLOCKFADECTL. It just sounds like a video card issue to me even if it was working with 2008 and 2009 previously. Maybe someone else has an idea.
