will CAD 2007 work with Windows 7 ?

Looking to upgrade my computer--I'm told that AutoCAD 2007 will not install on a 64 bit machine, but I don't know if it will work on a 32-bit processor with Windows 7. Seems silly to get a new computer with Vista or XP but I don't want to pony up $4000 for AutoCAD 2010, just keep using what I have on a new machine. Has anybody tried this?

It's not "supported", but you may be able to get it to work. Have you tried searching through the forum for other threads discussing the subject?

Through mid-March, your upgrade cost is nowhere near that.
