"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" error message

We're getting this message a lot, on some of our files at the moment.

It happens whenever you try to paste something from the drawing into another file, or just randomly while you are working.

The files came to us as AutoCAD files, but I think were originally from Microstation.

Any thoughts on how to get around this, or stop the error from popping up?

I've never seen this error before until a few days ago, but now, we are having to click close on this message 3 or 4 times every few minutes

This is just a suggestion but maybe try this. Sometimes this happens when the client system date and time is too far from the server's sytem date and time.

Try checking the date and time on the system running ACADE and make sure it matches or closely matches the date tiem on the ADMS server.
