Printing-How to print many drawings the most efficient way

Question:

What is the fastest and best way to print many DWGs, with the same print settings?

Problem:

Printing 66 drawings on 17*11

Printing 66 revised drawings on 17*11

Printing 66 approved drawings on 36*24

Takes way to long to print. Other Works have no better way then this:

open all the drawings in autocad
print each drawing by its self
use previous plot, to have the same settings

What i want:

Select all 66 DWGs
Set the print setup
click print once

Thanks for your help.

I got to print a large batch on Monday so hope i can find a way before that.
Also i'm a highschool co-op student and they will like it if i find a better way. So far their way is the co-op student. ha

I have searched google and the forums.

If you don't know but can point me in a better direction to solve my problem i will also be happy.

a macro might help

thanks again.

File>Publish

Select Drawings to plot (check Model, Layout or both)

Highlight all selected.

Select/Change Page setup on one highlighted line. All lines will update.

Publish

Just remember this assumes that all the drawings have a similar setup and are clean drawings (nothing outside of the desired plot area).

If you don't have defined Page Setup Names in each drawing you may not like the results.

the Publish option is probably your best bet as the previous post mentioned. if this is something that occurs reguarly i would strongly suggest you looking into using sheetset manager for your projects. one of autocad's best tools very easy to use and designed exactly for things like this. also like the previous post mentioned you really need page setups organised for yourself so you can take advantage of these tools potential.
