Making a frustum from a flat pattern

I know how to get a flat projection from any surface, but how can I transform an oject redrawn from an old set of plans and create a cone or frustum from the flat projection?

Specifically, I am designing a 3d model of a Gemini capsule and have a redrawn sheet from the old McDonnel blueprints. I need to draw this as a skin and wrap it around the basic shape I already have to add the skin detail to the completed model. Eventually it will be a real model.

TIA

Welcome to the Autodesk forums

I don't have your version, but if it's available, the CONE command will create the fustrum

Specify Base Radius

Specify Top Radius

Specify Height

"Skinning" it with a design I believe is beyond AutoCAD's capabilities.

Maybe I was unclear on my language.
I have a flat item, made a surface, and it has all sorts of details on it.
I want to "rotate," "revolve," "wrap," or "curl" it into a frustum.

I already have the solid I would like to join it to to change the holes into depressions.

If Autocad can give a flat projection, why not the reverse?

Thanks for the clarification.  The answer is still the same though, AutoCAD cannot "wrap" flat geometry around curved geometry.  Autodesk has other software that will, but not AutoCAD.

Also, AutoCAD can't go the other way either... it's limited to projecting from a single perspective onto a single plane in the same way a camera only captures what's facing the lens.
