line type scales

A silly basic question...but the mind has gone blank and in a hurry..

I have a line type in model space......centreline....differerent viewports at different scales..how do i retain the same appearance in every viewport...i:e: the line looks the same in every viewport despite the viewports being different scales...????  :smileysad:

1. Set LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE, PSLTSCALE & CELTSCALE all to 1.

2. In modelspace, set your CANNOSCALE to whatever viewport scale you intend on working with. it does not affect the 1:1 drawing scale, but it affects how all annotation objects (such as linetypes) appear in modelspace. You can change it on the fly and it doesn't adversely affect anything (it just makes what you see in modelspace look the same as it would in a paperspace viewport). This was new in 2008.

I believe it's PSLTSCALE that makes your linework appear the same across paperspace viewports of differing scales...

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :smileyhappy:
