Is it possible to disable "_copyclip"

My company is being forced to share some of our AutoCAD drawings with a company we really don't want having our drawings. The problem is, they need to be able to edit the drawings, so encrypting them isn't the solution. They need to be able to delete, move, and add objects in these drawings. my biggest concern is them not being able to copy our symbols. The solution I'm thinking might be to disable the copyclip command so that they can't copy anything over to another drawing for their own use. Is it possible to do that. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to protect these drawings please let me know. Thanks.

Hi stoews1,

Even if you could disable the Copy to clipboard, all they would have to
do is to erase all the visible drafting in your drawing, do a SaveAS,
then insert the saved drawing into one of their drawings and thereby
have full access to all your blocks.

If they have your drawing, then they have your blocks.

You would be better off spending your efforts arranging mutually
satisfactory arrangements about the blocks based on trust.

No, you either completely lock them out or get a legal agreement about your
symbols between the two companies.

Hi,
Explode and purge the blocks. It doesn't stop them accessing the geometry but they haven't got the blocks (unless they're really complex blocks its not difficult to reconstruct them anyway if they can see them). And if they're dyamic blocks its more trouble to recreate them.
