How to copy a leader and text and keep layer properties?

I have a problem with a leader in Autocad 2007.

I have a special defined layer I use for ledears, dimension lines and texts.

Every time I copy a leader with text, the text becomes bold (only in model and in plot).

I tried matching properties, changing the layer, checking to see if the text is bold but it's not.

In properties and edit everything seems to be the same as the original leader and text but in the model and when I plot there is a difference (the text appears bold)

Any idea why this happens? And most important how do I make it stop?

Z setting other than 0 (zero) has that effect on TTF fonts. You're not drawing/pasting/copying on the Z=0 plane.

FLATTEN command can fix it: OSNAPZ can stop you from creating it.

Thank you!

OSNAPZ command seems to work.

The problem is I have a bunch of drawings with the same problem and I don't
want to start copying leaders and text all over again.
If i try and use flatten command it says it doesn't exist. Is there any
other way to fix the text and leaders without copying them all over again?

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

Maybe you could check that your objects are at ZERO level before copy/paste ...

On all your DWGs, please ELEV <Enter> and check that both values are ZERO, so you are "almost" sure that next drawn 2D objects will be at Z = 0 ...

FLATTEN is a command coming from Express/Bonus routines, so maybe they are not installed on your ACAD !?
