Going from Vietnamiese AutoCAD text to English AutoCAD text

I have a drawing that was constructed in Vietnamiese, All the fonts do not make any sense when I open in the English Version....is there a way I can load a language pack that will read the Vietnamiese and translate it to English in AutoCAD...?

Any insight would be great!

What is your Windows and AutoCAD version?

What does it look like when you DDEDIT the texts?

There are some codepage convertors available on the web. You may need try some to convert its codepage?

Also, it is better to get the orginal fonts from the source. Ask them use ETRANSMIT to save the drawing as a zip file so it includes all resources including all used fonts.

I was using AutoCAD MAP 3D 2008/LDD but have 2010 and 2012 Civil 3D platforms to work with as well. Etransmit is not an option. Converting codepage is new to me... Have not tried to ddedit the text yet..
