Do you want to spend money? Look up ACROPLOT.

You do know 2007 comes with a PDF plotter already set up, under PLOT
command.
Other freebies can be had through an internet search, "free PDF driver" for
a search term.

Also Illustrator works fine. Open Illu, open drawing in original size and save as PDF. Note that Illu opens everything in the drawing...

Thanks for all the insight. "BEST" for the cost... Also, easy to use.

We have about 100 architects. We are not on 2007 exclusively yet.

Our experience with ACROPLOT is that it did not handle DWGs with several XREFs involved. That is what my people found before I arrived here. I can't confirm this.

I've been using AcroPlot for about 5 years and use a lot of XRefs. Never
had a problem with it here ??

i've only ever used the free version of PDF factory, but I always find it the best pdf software that I have used.

If you're just looking to create the odd PDF file, check out www.pdf995.com It will work with anything that shows up on plotted paper because it adds a print driver, not just a converter.

There's an annoying sponsor message, but you can get rid of that for the $10 purchase fee. pdf995.com also has programs for editing, and security of PDF files. Message was edited by: DaOtter
