Can someone please confirm for me that the "DWG to PDF" driver prints the plotstamp text darker than the "Adobe PDF" driver without changing any other settings. I had read in past posts that the DWG to PDF provided by Autodesk resolved some issues and was preferred, but it appears to me the Adobe PDF is working better. I have no idea why the plotstamp text would be darker? Any help is appreciated. Mike -
No, never figured out the plotstamp plotting darker. A related very similar issue ended up being that some annotation within an attribute block was using Dtext or Mtext. I believe we made all the text Mtext and the problem was resolved. We later noticed that plotting from 2010 alone would solve the problem.
Why not? It seems that it would be part of a patch or service pack or something. So if I'm on a subscription I can just call up my reseller and request the driver?
I looked in the list and the particular bonus pack you mentioned was not listed there. In fact I didn't see anything specific for ACAD 2009. What's the deal? I swear, it's crap like this that makes me want to give up AutoCAD altogether. This shouldn't be a difficult thing and should be FREE to anyone that has purchased the software!
