Here's one inexpensive though low resolution method:

With PDF opened, you can hit Alt+PrintScrn which copies the active window
application to the clipboard.
Then open Paint, Ctrl+V to Paste.
Then you can select the section you want from Paint, copy that and paste
into AutoCAD.

Acrobat Reader has a Camera Tool (icon/button has a camera image) and is
used to copy content from a page to the Windows Clipboard among other
features.

Start Acrobat Reader Help and explore. Watch your display settings inside
Acrobat, fuzzy on screen is fuzzy in AutoCAD.

I have always used the camera tool. I'm now in Civil 3D 2010 and now I'm having trouble plotting out my image. I starts out plotting about 1/2" plots and the rest is not there. Everything else of my drawing plots but not the pasted PDF clipped portion. Any suggestions?
