copy part of pline interesctwith rectangle

Hellow Everyone,

Could you please help me with something

I need to fiind a way to copy part of polyline  when the polyline intersect with a rectangle.Put that part of the polylines in separate layout.

But doing this thru autocad  2008 vba macro

A know there is something with getboundingbox and interechwith.

You should then ask in the forum for AutoCAD >>>Visual Basic Customization<<<

To start: first calculate the intersection points between the rectangle the the polyline, then check which parts of the polyline segments are inside the rectangle, which segments are crossing the rectangle and which segments are outside the rectangle. And now create the new polylines based on the inner ones + the crossing segments up to the intersection point.
