Block Editor Is Jerky

When I exit out of the block editor into model space I do any command after that it is jerky. In order to clear the jerkiness I have to close AutoCAD and restart it. How do I get rid of the jerkiness?

Try turning off background running apps, turn down or off video card
hardware acceleration and see if that helps: restarting AutoCAD resets
Windows memory management as well.

For what it's worth, I've found the same thing. It's like snap has been
turned on when I come out of the Block Editor. As a practical matter
though, I only use the block editor on those rare occasions when I'm
creating (or modifying) dynamic blocks. On a day-to-day basis, our normal
mode is to have BLOCKEDITLOCK turned on so that double-clicking a block (at
least one that doesn't have attributes) to go to the REFEDIT command.
