AutoCAD License Alert - Error [1.5-33]

I am periodically getting an AutoCAD License Alert stating "A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager" when starting AutoCAD 2008. When I click OK and try again, AutoCAD typically obtains the license and starts successfully. The message has an Errror [1.5.-33] code. I can't find any documentation or informatin on this error code. Does anyone know where these error codes are published, or might be able to provide some insight into what the issue might be?

I don't know what the error code means, but you may be able to avoid being denied a license by increasing the allowable search time. To do this right-click the computer icon on your Windows desktop select Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables.
Add the variable FLEXM_TIMEOUT with a value of 1000000
