autocad 2008 activation

Hello, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am installing AutoCAD 2008 and have the installation disc and serial number (printed on case). When I try to get an activation code and enter the serial number, the message comes back that the serail number in invalid. What are my options now?

Hi,

there are some options why that message is sent, the most common one is that your AutoCAD 2008 is already updated. If so then you are not allowed to use this license.

But at least the only option is to send the mail with your activation data to Autodesk (you have the option in the activation dialog) and wait for their response.
