My anti-virus software (ntl netguard) has flagged up that acad162_icon.exe has a virus W32/Backdoor.ATUZ, my software couldn't disinfect the file and then deleted it. now AutoCAD won't work and i get fatal errors. when i try to re-install the software the same thing happens and the file gets flagged as a virus.

can any of you guys help me with this as i'm really struggling at the mo.
Kind regards,
Johnny Battiste

add autocad to your anti-virus exclusions list, or get a better
anti-virus product that does let you do that.

AVG flagged this same file a few months ago and thought a totally different
virus was there, but they quickly released an updated definition file that
solved the problem. Luckily I told AVG to ignore the file, but it kept
flagging it until the update a few days layer.
