Windows 8

Just upgraded my system from xp to Win 8 - 64 bit.  Seems that I'm no longer able to run 2005 Architectural Desktop or 2004 Autocad.  I've heard there is a way to do this - detuning win8 somehow.  If you are aware of a work-around - would you kindly enlighten me?

1. Search Microsoft's website on how to run ancient software in Win8.
2. Look for a 3rd party tool called LONGBOW that may be able to help.
3. Find and install Win7-32bit for your old software: you may still need item #2.
