Remote Text In AutoCAD2006

Previously I could edit my Remote Text through the Properties Center (like Height, Layer, Styles and color) now in AutoCAD 2006 when I do select the Remote Text in the drawing , the properties Dialog box does not recognize this entity, that will prevent the user from editing the remote text.

My question is this a new features in AutoCAD 2006 and if it is how I can edit my Remote Text.

Thanks Tai.B.

Please pardon my ignorance, but, I am unfamiliar with the term 'Remote
Text', can you explain what that is, please?

I haven't used RTEXT in a while so I just tried it and I see what you mean. It is highlighted when I pick it but it is not shown in properties.

Not sure how it is supposed to be editied.

In Express Tools help RTEXT is called Reactive Text, but Autodesk also calls it Remote Text.

From 5 or 6 Response, you are the only one gave me the answer,

Redit it will solve the problem.

Thanks allot for all other member's responses, just to replay it is very nice; either you have the answer or no. I do appreciate any replay.

But folks do you agree that AutoCAD 2006 not recognizing the Rtext in the properties dialog box is (kind of error or problem in this revision)

Thanks aging for all
