Radius text location, relative to the leader

When I select a circle to dimension it's radius or diameter, the dimension will be placed to the right of the leader if my cursor is to the right of the circle center, to the left if my cursor is to the left.  Can I control/change this?  Sometimes I want the dimension text placed to the left of my leader when I locate the dimension to the right of the circle.

I have 2005, and I don't know how to override/change the leader attachment for a radius/diameter dimension.  The only way I can think of is using a QLeader and Field since QLeaders permit the text to be dragged after creation and the landing will follow.

Just discovered the text position in Properties can be used to move the text attachement to the opposite side, however be aware the grip editing the dimension later will cause it to return to the default attachment.
