I have a custom.lin linetype that i used in my .dwg, its works fine in my PC, but if i have to share it with another user, what things do i have to be worry about?

for ex. i know that if i use a custom font or shape for it i have to share them too...but is there another issue? Is necessary to share my .lin with my partner? if not, why not?

thank you.
Nicolás.

No need to share the .LIN file, because linetype definitions
are stored in the drawing.

If your linetype uses a shape, then you have to send along
the SHX file. (use eTransmit)

If your linetype used a textstyle, then you might want to
let them know not to change the font or fixed text height.
These things will alter the display of the linetype.
