Italics for Simplex?

Hi. We use Simplex font a lot at work, but recently I was trying to make a few words in Simplex italic, but that option doesn't show up in Mtext. I read elsewhere that someone said it had to be a .ttf font to enable italics (and bold, underline, etc.), but i checked and the Simplex on my computer is .ttf.

Any ideas on how to enable italics using Simplex font?

Thanks,

rs

Make a new style SIMPLEXS and put 10 degrees in the Oblique Angle, then use MTEXT with SIMPLEXS.
