have a drawing that has hidden objects on defpoints layer. I turn all layers
on and thaw them all but when hit ctrl+a there appear to be snap points that
belong to hidden objects. when I cross window in the area I find nothing. how
do you turn these and how do you delete them? Edited by: Mawnster on May 19,

Write out everything to a block from Model space, then paper space; open a new drawing; insert blocks and overwrite old drawing. That's the way to delete things you can't see.
i type "erase", then "all" for select objects. then i deselect all visible objects and hit enter. anything in the drawing that you can't select is erased. then i purge and audit and qsave. this works for invisible blocks and off layers, so excercise caution.
