most likely a damaged DLL file. Try to "repair" your installation first, then if that's not successful, a new install and registry cleanup may be necessary. Did you use a registry cleaning tool? Autodesk advises that using a tool for cleaning the registry will wipe out the registry for CommCentr and you will "have to re-install autocad".

We had this problem on autocad 2007 also.
Our solution - make sure you disable any virus protection before you install autocad.

This is a Registry error. Registry cleaners cause it. You do not have to reinstall autocad 2007. You can if you want but you only have a limited amout of times you can install or reinstall the program. It is better when you get this error to go into c:/programfiles/autocad 2007 and if the folders for the registry backup and open them and merge the backups back to you computer registry
