Error opening .ctb file

Hi,
I got this error message recently;

"There was an error opening the file H:\Plot Styles\pen.ctb"

The H drive is where we store our pen styles, and it seems like this problem is affecting all of the users (we are on a network).

The problem wouldn't be as bad if it didn't happen with every single command that we give it. Its actually kind of annoying.

I have looked for the folder on the H drive in the windows explorer, and I can see it. I tried to open it and it gave me a sharing violation, so we searched for somebody that had it open, but no dice.

Any ideas?

-Thanks to all in advance.

Erick

Not sharing, but accessability, or rights. Sounds like you don't have
rights to the folder. Try going to the server itself and accessing it, or
getting the permissions changed.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, even the administrator cannot move or access the file. Our next step will be to reboot the server. I will keep a post of my findings.

Thanks again.

Did you ever get this resolved?  If so, how.  I've got the same issue.

Thanks,
