Autocad 2006 on Win7 64bit with network license

Hello,

Need help to start Autocad 2006 on Win7 64bit with network license.

on Win XP i just modify registry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.2\ACAD-4007:409\AdLM]
"Type"=dword:00000019

How to change license from standartalone to network on Win7 64bit?

AutoCAD 2006 is not supported in Win7, sorry.
What's your server OS that is running LMTools? What version of LMTools?

Hello from France

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

*** Now my standard answer ***

To run old 32bits AutoCAD software on a modern 64 bits PC with Win Seven x64 / Win Eight x64, they are 3 solutions :

1 - http://www.longbowsoftware.com/

2 - Run a VMWare with Win 2000+SP4 32 bits or Win XP Pro 32 bits

3 - Try to use the special "Win XP Mode" of Win Seven/Eight

Very often, they are some problems and it's very slow !

As far as I know, solutions 1 & 2 are OK ...
