What does all of that mean exactly? please elbaroate on the problem.

I opened your file, and while you have a plot style set to be used your plot dialog box is set to ignore it for example. Why?
And your "3d model" viewports are set to 2D in Shademode, was that also intentional? your output and your layout look the same here, just the way you have them set.

perhaps its the settings i have wrong.

on detail sheet, i want to plot 2d views of parts, with hidden lines displayed.

on assemblies, i dont want any hidden lines displayed.

some lines object lines do not show at all.

what should the viewport and plot settings be?

basically, i want to produce 2d sheet drawings in paperspace from the 3d model.
