I have a template drawing that already has my units and dimension styles and such set up in it. I inserted a drawing from an architect and now it keeps reverting my units back to decimal everytime I insert a block or do certain block commands like copy nested entities. And it is always set to .00 precession even though I had it set to 1/256". I am guessing there was some type of object that was inserted or some block by some added software they used but I have no idea. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks Dean. I had found that earlier but misread it and I thought my settings were already as stated. I changed them and it seems to be working ok now.
I have the opposite problem in that files I get from my surveyor, when opened in Land, "revert" to architectural units when what I want is decimal. Is this particular fix applicable here as well?
Check for autoloading .arx's. I have a systems
furniture system that insists upon setting architectural units. "Hide" the .arx
files to prevent this (or uninstall the application).
