I HATE truetypes !

Question : Is there a way to speed up autocad if you use truetypes in Xrefs ? Selecting anything is very slow (3 sec. waiting)if I use truetypes; with .SHX there is no problem but I am obliged to use Arial.
I am using A2Ki on a compaq Deskpro K450/10, OS: W2K

u can use the QTEXT command to replace text with an
'outline' for faster regens etc.

OR get some real SHX fonts at
href="http://www.tcfonts.com">http://www.tcfonts.com
instead of the freebies
you got in AutoCAD.
