Trim like I used to...

I remember in the good old days of R14 I could select a trimming edge and
it would act like an infinite line and let me trim anything that would cross
the "infinite" line. Now in 200X, it requires the line to actually cross the
lines i want to trim. Is there a setting or something to make it behave like
it did in R14?

This is one of the reasons I tell users to have at least 3 lines open in the
command prompt and to read the command line. It tells you what your PROJMODE
and EDGEMODEs are set to.
