Switch to Network License

I have installed AutoCAD Map 5 from the CD. I typically install it from the bundled package on the server but our server has crashed, and no longer exists. SO, we have the license manager on another server. I have the license file that points to that server. The problem is after installing from the CD, apon opening MAP5 it asks for the activation code. I have no such thing!! It won't look at the licpath.lic file like I'm used to it doing. How can I get this MAP5 installation to start loooking at the server for the license?
