Shift Deselect is Not Working

Hi All

I support 50 ACAD 02 users and one came to me today saying he can no longer use the shift key to deselect. I thought this had something to do with the file he was working on but a new file had the same problem. Is there a system varable to control this? Thanks in advance

Go to the "options" window and pick the selection tab, on the left side, is there a check mark in use shift to add?
This has to have a check mark or the value of PICKADD must be set to zero.

Hi All, and thanks for your input but I found the problem. When Raster Design 3 is loaded on top of AutoCAD 2002 SP1 the Shift Deselect does no longer work. Something in the Raster Design 3 package seems to disable this.

Mike, while in Raster select the raster tools tab on the ribbon - select the angled arrow on the insert 7 write panel to open the Raster Design options dialog box - select the User Preferences dialog box and deselect the "Shift+Left Click image select" box and hit OK.
