Open dialogue box issues

When I try to open a drawing using the open command, the dialogue box appears and displays my drawings as icons. I've used the view button to change this setting to list but as soon as I go up a level it reverts back to icons. I've right clicked on the blank area and used this method to change the view setting but it still reverts back to icons. I would like to retain the view setting as a default for all folders. I also would like to change the size of the dialogue box and keep that size. (It also reverts back after closing) I never had this problem running windows98 but am now running XP professional. Thanks in advance for your input.

Its an issue of running A2Ki on XP.

Is this a dead issue??? Is there going to be a patch available to the Windows XP Pro users? I know this issue seems small, but it is quite annoying to my end users when they have to click view-list/detail for each folder/subfolder.
