Multiple designers, one drawing?

Is there an easy way to have multiple desingers working on the same drawing?

That's what Autodesk Map is for - it let's multiple users "attach" drawings,
then query in only those entities they specifically want to work on, leaving
other entities accessible to be edited by others at the same time in the
same source drawing.

Easy -no - (I think an add-on will do it- not sure which)
But you can-

Place the Bulk of the drawing in one file-
Xref it into a new file- (file-2)
periodically reload the xref
One user edits file-2
the other edits (base) xref.
periodically... (re)insert file-2 into xref to re-incorporate the work.

Do not attempt with casual users!
