MTEXT AND USING THE FIND & REPLACE

Ok i have alot of mtext that contains county name etc and i use the find
command to find the name and replace it with the correct county name but
apperently it doesnt work with mtext ???

any ideas to aleviate my problem

when you get the dialogue box up click on the options button and make sure the
text box is checked, and maybe look into the match case and find whole words
only as well.

try unchecking match case and find whole words. you have to watch out for the
find whole words though (depending on what your replacing) beacause if what your
replacing is part of a word that word would get changed as well.


other than that....have you tried rebooting your system
