Keyboard Commands not working.

I have just upgraded to AutoCAD 2002 and I am having a problem with the keyboard commands. When I open AutoCAD from the start menu and then open a drawing, the keyboard commands work. But when I open a drawing directly from Windows explorer, I cannot use any keyboard (short commands: l for line or z for zoom). I have to type the whole word out for it to work. I am accustom to using the keyboard commands more than icons and this is really frustrating. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!
Scotty

Where is your acad.pgp file located? And how many copies do you
have floating around in your system?

I have done a search on my computer and found 3 acad.pgp files in the following directories:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MDT6\acadm
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MDT6\Support
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MDT6\desktop\support

Thanks.
