Isolate Layer to current Layout

I've posted this question before, but have never really found a suitable
method.

All of my drawings have multiple layout tabs usually numbering around 20 or
30. Often, I must add objects in model space after many of the layouts have
been created. Is there a way isolate the new object layer to only one
layout tab? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen this posted before, and my curiosity made me try the solution to a
previous post:

This is how I made this work:

The following must be done from PAPERSPACE (click on any layout tab first):

(the following is copied from my command line - my layer name is "_test2"):
_______________________________________________

Command: VPLAYER
Enter an option [?/Freeze/Thaw/Reset/Newfrz/Vpvisdflt]: N

Enter name(s) of new layers frozen in all viewports: _test2
Enter an option [?/Freeze/Thaw/Reset/Newfrz/Vpvisdflt]:

________________________________________________

All objects created on this new layer ( _test2 ) are frozen in all existing
paperspace viewports! So easy.

In other words, you have to create the layer using VPLAYER, and then create
or move objects onto that layer.

Let us know how it goes . . .
