Is there a way to turn meshes or 3D Faces into solids

Can someone please help.

Is there a way to turn meshes or 3D Faces into solids. I have a model with
both solids and 3D faces that I need to project into 2D. I have been using
SOLFROF but it only works with solids.

The model I have that is made of 3D faces is a cone that is curved and with
an offset apex. I’m not sure how to create this model as a solid..

I have AutoCad 2000. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would like to turn the 3D faces into solids.
WMFOUT will turn them into 2D. I have just found out that if I extrude the 3D
faces they will then turn into solids.

Rob Pickers,

I thought, you wanted to get a 2D from 3D surfaces. I am not aware of
converting surfaces into solids in AutoCAD but this is possible in Mechanical
Desktop.
