Internal Error 2755.1632, D:\acad.msi

I'm trying to install AutoCAD 2000i onto a Windows 2000P machine and this error keeps on coming up at the last stage of the install wizard. Any suggestions ?

It still doesn't want to install. I have administrator priviledges, but still no luck.
What else can I do ?

After going through the same experience (and having a similar experience trying to update my Office XP) i tried the instructions given by Microsoft and Autodesk without any luck. But i solved my problem (as i was on hold with Microsoft) so it may solve yours. Make sure your user is logged as a member of the Administrators group ONLY - after doing this i could install AutoCAD LT and upgrade Office straight away with no problems. If u have to remove the user from the Admin group and then reinstate do it.
