You cant import PDF's into ACAD,

If its text you can copy & paste or if its an image open it in Photoshop and
save as a bitmap image

If you have Adobe Illustator, you can then open the pdf file into that
program. After opening the file, you can then export the file as an AutoCAD
drawing. The only problem is another software program to purchase, unless
you can find someone who has a copy who can do the job for you.Good luck.

there is freeware out there, Ghostscript/Ghostview specifically, that
will be convert a PDF to a DXF.

David,

GSView on Windows systems :-)

BTW it's PStoEdit that takes care of the actual conversion, together with
GhostScript. GSView is the GUI that makes it a bit friendlier.

You also need a little package called PSTOEDIT as well ;-)
