Importing *.pdf files into documents and printing the image, Help?

Hiya,

the above sums up the problem quite well.
I'm having difficulty inserting pdf documents into Acad 2000i show that they are displayed on screen, and eventually plotted as a hardcopy. I think the plotting is a problem with the printer driver but I can't get past stage one of this problem. I know about the OLE command, but this just inserts a link to Acrobat, I need the pdf displayed in the drawing file. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

HELP in Adobe Acrobat Reader has a wealth of information, explore it soon.

In Adobe Acrobat Reader, use the Graphics Select Tool, select the graphic(s)
you want to bring in, right-click and select Copy, then in AutoCAD
right click and select Paste: now you have an OLE image of the graphic to
use in AutoCAD.

If you use the Text Select Tool in Acrobat, use PASTESPEC in AutoCAD
to bring it in as an MTEXT block: current text style settings apply.
This assumes the text in your PDF is text, and was not saved as graphics.
