Image Types for Attachment

Just getting into using Acad 2002 from V14 and I had to make a tiff image uncompressed to attach it, the LZW compressed version (which I generally use) was flagged up as invalid. Have they limited the options for images that can be attached? It is no major hardship, apart form storage space.

Don't know, but i believe the LZW compression method is no freeware.
