I am "Pasting as Hyperlink" to a block in my
drawing and my path to the file has a pound symbol (#) in the path. I
have found out that the "#" symbol is the source of my problem when I try to
activate or "open" the hyperlink. It actuallly doesn't work, and I get
an error dialog box stating, "The system cannot find the path
specified". Are there any other symbols that I should consider a
problem with respect to paths to files? Also, is there any escape
character that I could place in front of these symbols to make the hyperlink
read the character literally, just like we do for
lisp?
Hi
I’m having problems with hyperlinking on a drawing to hyperlink to a drawing in my Standard folder. The error message comes up with (THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE PATH SPECIFIED) when I try open from the hyperlink I set up
I have just upgraded to AutoCAD 2012 from AutoCAD 2004, where I set up the hyperlink up fine with no problems on the older version, I have also had Windows 7 installed but doubt that that has any effect.
Please could you give me the info to this problem and or direct me in the correct path?
